Why is it so hard to manage flipping tyre stuff?  Got a complete flat today go to tyres pro and get told come back at 4, i’m like HOW I have a flat tyre FFS!!  Then I get the classic “Can you leave it with us” errr no where am I gonna go?  I can sit in your waiting room but other than that where am I gonna go for hours and even then you might still not get a chance to look at it.

Said i’ll just have to go home and see if I can get back here at 4 then if the tyre will hold some air in it.  If not will have to wait several days for kwik fit mobile to come out.

Yes I suppose I could ask the RAC to tow it somewhere but then i’d have to go with it then drive back cos they’re to going to take it somewhere get a tyre then bring it back.

Lucky I thought to ask if first place had a tyre in stock otherwise I could see me limping back there to be told you need a new tyre and we don’t have one LOL.

This is my 3rd puncture in the last couple of months.  I blame all this stupid stuff on the stupid road dressing garbage they’ve sprayed on just about every road here since April.  Anyone else had that stuff thrown down and had punctures after?  Right pain in the bum this stupid kwik-fit and tyres pro business they’re always impossible to get an emergency appt with I was lucky they got me in within 3 hours I guess

I hate KwikFit. For my daughters cars (privately owned) I take them to a brilliant independent who does the changes properly, such as pushing off wheel centre badges from behind rather than levering them off with a screwdriver 😡. They also have pretty much everything in stock, whereas Kwik Fit seem to always say they can get it the next day, which means two trips – and they aren’t local. Who are Tyres Pro? I thought that we had to use KwikFit only?

I’ve had my fair share of troubles with K-F garages and after my last visit to such place and all the parking trouble there I decided to go home and book the “At Home service” via my Motability account and it worked a treat.

All I had to do was answer the door when he came the next day and unlock the car so he could check the mileage of the car, tyre changed and on his way in less than 25 minutes.

Had no issues with my local Kwikfit. They came out the following day to where I was parked and changed the tyre within 15 minutes.

@Glos Guy you can use STS Tyre Pros and Tyre City. I have heard of people using their supplying dealership, but not sure if that is under special circumstances (e.g. failed MOT due to tyres).
