Jusr plugged in for tonights charge and the Ohme App says my car has 0% battery!
Skoda App reports correctly at 40%
Tried switching off the charger for 10 mins, turning the mobile off/on and still showing the same
It says it’s charging now at 7.52kW and will to 6 miles of range by 21:15
Then to 100% and 252 miles by 08:59???Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

Most likely API issue.
Re login on the app with the car settings and it should work with the API again.
March 13, 2025 at 11:31 pm #299392Logged out and back into the App, if I remove and try to re-add the car it asks me for my Skoda ID and password, I can’t find any record of those anywhere.

March 13, 2025 at 11:42 pm #299393I see this every so often, when plugging in a Ioniq 5. More often than not it works fine, however every so often we’ve a 0% battery reading.
It’s suggesting the Ohme charger has an issue connecting to the car.. Sometimes it fixes itself after a few moments, or I completely close the app (on iPhone, swiping it away to close the app) and relaunch it.
But it still starts charging when it’s supposed to.
Same issue I’ve had with now two Ohme chargers.
March 13, 2025 at 11:52 pm #299394It starts charging as soon as I open the App, disconnected car 3 times, reset charger, phone etc. etc.
I did find something online suggesting the charger isn’t connecting via it’s in-built sim even though the App shows a green dot saying it’s connected.
Not sure if I should leave it connected, I’m sure the car will turn off charging when it gets to 100% but at the moment the Skoda app says 58% and 141 miles but the ohme App says 2% and 7 miles!. It also sys my smart charging schedule is 23:18 to 11:53am 😮

March 13, 2025 at 11:58 pm #299395Don’t risk anything, just leave it and see what happens tomorrow.
March 14, 2025 at 12:16 am #299396Indeed, I’ve stayed up longer than I wanted to!.
I’ve set the Ohme App to add 30% so that will/should give me a real world battery level of around 90% (I hope).
Thanks to Kezo and Sentoo for the help 🙂

March 14, 2025 at 8:58 am #299414this used to happen with my ioniq 5, until i stopped connecting ohme to the hyundai app.
Since just using the ohme app on its own its been faultless
March 14, 2025 at 12:26 pm #299433Had 93% charge this morning so that will do nicely.
I’m out tomorrow and Sunday so may try plugging in Sunday evening if I need to top up again. Or leave it until the weather improves Tues/Weds.
A few posters on the FB group have said it’s Skoda blocking 3rd party API’s but sometimes it just starts working as it used to again.
Either way as long as it still charges it’ll do the job!.

March 14, 2025 at 12:47 pm #299435I come across this, which maybe of help given they are VW group cars –
Ohme is rubbish at working with audi’s api too and will intermittently work or not at random.
Ohme supports reply was: “As an Ohme Labs feature, communication directly through your vehicle (via API) is still in development. As a result, it may not work as intended from time to time.
For the moment you would need to disconnect the API link (by clicking Continue Without Account after selecting your car make) and then adjust your charge schedule slightly to ‘add’ a certain amount of charge rather than meeting a ‘target’. “
March 14, 2025 at 2:12 pm #299451Pretty much what I had to do last night. When I finally went to bed the car was on about 58% as it had been charging for about 2-3hrs on and off from when I plugged in due to the App problems.
The App did say it was charging at the off peak rate but given it wasn’t working properly it may not have been so I paused it and waited until after 23:30 to continue. I added 35% to keep it under the 100% just in case it kept trying to overcharge or blew up!! 🙂
If I have to keep doing it this way it’s not a big problem, just means staying up until 23:30 before letting it charge. I can still plug in earlier just have to remember to start the App before I go to bed!

March 14, 2025 at 3:27 pm #299455Personally, I didn’t think Ohme chargers are that good but, it isn’t as if you have a choice other than to make do.
March 20, 2025 at 7:04 pm #299770Plug mine in at any time of the day, confirm plug in and leave it.
When it is unplugged the next day always have a full charge. The Ohme app on my phone works fine.

2005 - 2017 Honda CRV Exec 2.0dMarch 20, 2025 at 8:47 pm #299774So did mine for the last 14 months. But it seems Skoda/VW are updating systems, whether in cars or servers, that is causing a lot of users to now have this same problem.
They have done this previously and Octopus found a workaround, hopefully they’ll do the same again but who knows?.
I plugged it in earlier today but have not opened the App and confirmed connection yet. I’ll do it at 23:30 and see what options it gives this time.

March 20, 2025 at 11:43 pm #299778Update:
Connected tonight and there’s a popup from Octopus/Ohme saying their Skoda intergration isn’t working and can’t read the cars battery level.
Set it to add 50% and off to bed :p

April 3, 2025 at 10:00 pm #303930I had a similar problem with my Ariya but the other day I plugged it in and it wanted to pair with the car. I did this and now it knows what battery levels are in the car. It was like the Ohme app had an update.
April 3, 2025 at 11:49 pm #303931Plugged in tonight and mines still not working as it used to, set it to add 60% by 9am.
