on monday iwent into worksop to visit max speilman as they do passport photos and process the whole thing for you. which i thought was worth it as being on my own its impossible to take a selfy that meets the passport office website rules. anyway as the sciatica is back with a vengence i checked online that i could park close by.
any way max speilman were excellant working around me doubling up in pain every couple of minutes and i made my way to the car, only 30 feet away and who walks up to it but a bloody traffic warden and he starts circling the car. when i gets there he says you just got back in time i havent stated the ticket so i will let you off. you need a sap, confused i say well i looked on streetveiw last night and it said disabled parking ive got a blue badge and its displayed, no he says they changed it last year these bays are now sap only.
whats the difference i say, i dont know he says but i can go on the ncc website and find out.
so mightily releived to escape a ticket today i go on hte website and the qualification is exactly the same as for a blue badge using basically what looks like the imported portal from the blue badge site without the need to pay ten quid. so ive uploaded my wpms letter and m mugshot and i await what happens.
anyone else come accross this? so soon i will have a blue badge and a green badge, any more for anymore.

No @mitch never heard anything about SAP but it looks like its Nottingham based so a regional thing. Doncaster a blue badge is good enough lol.

I hardly go into town now so ain’t bothered with it. Last time we got our passport photos done at asda.
the advantage with using max was that they did the whole application online and sent off the old passport,like the post office do and i onl went out once.
someone at bolsover cruise club told me about it they did theirs at meadowhall and they got their passport in 2 weeks which given the horror stories you see about people waiting months i felt it was worth ago.
we shall see, i dont need it till january so i am in no rush.
the permit thing was just galling as the same bas used to be designated disabled so i just dont see what theyve gained. your right joss it seems to just be notts.
