Wouldn’t be too worried about what Motability say about test drives as it’s an area that gets stone walled silence when I asked about getting a car that has the adaption I require for test driving. I understand that having cars that are suitable for different disabilities is near on impossible but hits me like a kick up the backside when Motability say “don’t forget, do a test drive”.
I’ve asked the dealers over the last 12 years about test driving and what I get in answer is two chances “no chance and fat chance”.
You might be lucky that something your looking for turns up at a Motability roadshow, if they ever return, with adaptions or if your abled to drive without adaption your back of the queue anyway.
