I thought this might have been a cut price RAV4 but that price seems ridiculous. Also Suzuki say that sales will be very limited in its first year. You’ve got to ask what’s the point then?

I almost fell out of my office chair reading the initial figure, absolutely astonished! I don’t think large Suzuki’s sell well in Europe so I’m expecting the vehicle to be pulled soon.

A few outlets are reporting prices will start from £46,000.

The Cupra Formentor PHEV will start from under £40,000 and with 306bhp, although the regular models are likely to start from £27,000.
