There’s some nice cars on your list there. I think the 2 series could be a good shout. Decent height for entry/exit, powerful engine (might be a bit thirsty), decent looks, solid build quality.

B Class is probably a similar story as it’s the 2 series rival but it costs nearly 4x more in AP plus it probably won’t be as fun to drive (if that’s important to you).

Im also a big fan of the Skoda Kamiq. I really like the looks and the interior looks very smart. I saw one in a sort of ruby red colour the other day and it really caught my eye.

I think the best thing to do would be to get yourself to as many showrooms as you can and see with your own eyes. There’s loads of times where I’ve been excited to see a car and I’ve hated it within 30 seconds of sitting in it and then never considered it again.

The only big red warning light on your list (in my opinion) is the Mini – my wife and I were dealership hopping a few months ago with cardboard cut-out of my wheelchair in folded form just for ease of checking boot sizes and one look at the height of the Mini and we didn’t even check the boot.

As I said though, that’s MY opinions and the only one that really counts is yours…

                wow spooky.

lol that is almost my order i just this morning changed my mind about the colour and thought red as i have a brg 3 dr mini at the moment and thought if i went for the mini i would have a change.thats the leather i like.

i am waiting for a test drive to se if the cooper is enough or if i should push it a little for the s.

                small world.

i like the white roof with the brg as well i was just going to have it body coloured.

Great minds and all that, I personally would not go for the 1.5 as I had a lend of one and it was noisy and thirsty. Although I haven’t stopped flooring it yet so this has emptied its tank pretty quickly!

Got the Lego set and loved the colour combo so got it in real life.

colin, yes thats something ive got too think about, am i going to get even worse and need a chair.

at the moment i muddle by.

dbtruth, i hadnt thought of that about the bmw and the merc. its obvious now you mention it v similar but a big difference in ap.

ive sat in the mini and the bmw’s and the nissan juke they are on my test drive list.

the rest fortunately are pretty much on one road in chesterfield apart from vw so i may be able to do them in a day with luck.
