      Hi @WMCForum

Im currently experiencing a nightmare with Peugeot and hoping you might be able to help with something.

In NOVEMBER 2021, the Peugeot Spec/ Trim levels were as follows, low to high:

      • Allure
      • Allure Premium
      • GT
      • GT Premium (NOT GT LINE Premium).

Has anyone got the price list for November 2021 for the Pug 5008 GT 1.2 auto AND the Pug 5008 GT PREMIUM 1.2 auto, please, if at all possible.
It’s really important for me as I’m in a battle currently with Peugeot. They have built the wrong car, given me a GT and expect me to pay the GT Premium AP WHEN, I’m convinced the GT was significantly cheaper.
Please note: This is NOT for the GT Line models of trim. This is AFTER the “Line” was changed to GT and GT Premium. I ordered the GT Premium, I’m now being told it’s a GT, covid and chips is the problem, and well, tuff. Take it or leave it.

This is incredibly unfair to pay an AP higher than the car being delivered.

      Price list for November 2021.

It may be worth a call to Motability, explaining the situation to them. If your prepared to accept the GT ask them to change the paperwork reflect the price of the GT Q4 2021. Motability will probably say speak to your dealer buts its worth a shot.

If you don’t get the result you want don’t feel pressurised into accepting a vehicle you didn.t order!

I take it you have not yet put your PIN number in?

you can walk away and reorder.

You should have received a contract for the car?

If the dealer and/or motability are giving you the runaround then bin the order. Nothing is cast in stone (I believe), until you enter the PIN on collection of the vehicle. If it don’t match what you ordered, don’t let anyone force you into accepting.

From that list it’s only £50 difference.

                  Good morning everyone,

Thank you so very much for the replies, particularly the price list for the said dates.

You absolutely correct in that I can walk away, I haven’t entered the PIN. To date, within three days the car went from not being built to being in Sheerness so something untoward is going on here. I have informed Mota, they have noted my concerns but have clearly stated that anything to do with AP’s is dealers discretion. They advised I contact Pugs Customer Service.
Yesterday I wrote to the UK CEO, Mr. Wood, his personal assistant came back to me requesting information. I have replied with the experience received thus far, the problems I’m experiencing with the build and the tiresome excuse after excuse from the dealer. I offered an altered AP to take delivery of this car, the PA has replied that she will come back to me no later than close of play on Friday.
My real concern is for others, others who too have been waiting 12+ months for your car. The likeness is, it won’t have the spec your believe your getting. It’s the spec at build I’m being told, NOT at order, which for us disabled people is absurd considering we order purely on the basis of our needs.
Anyway, I shall wait until Friday.
Another thing that concerns me is this car is clearly a GT, yet the contract states GT Premium. With the latter, will Pug be billing for a higher priced car than the one received…

                  Ill keep you all updated.

Your correct, it’s doesn’t sound much, but £50 is £50. The items missing are:

                      • 19” Alloy Wheels
                      • Focol Sound System
                      • Auto Tailgate
                      • Visio 2 (Driver Assistance)
                      • Electronic heated drivers seat with memory and massage function
                      • Mistral Alcantara® and leather effect seat trim (I’m getting the one below)

Expecting the above, to discover it includes none without being informed some 19+ months later is unacceptable.
Would you order a Land Rover 130 Defender and be happy and tricked into accepting the 110… Nope. Same difference.

Didn’t Peugeot stop making the GT Premium? Looking on their website at the specs, it 3 trims (Active Premium Plus, Allure Premium plus and GT) Specs below:

                          https://www.peugeot.co.uk/content/dam/peugeot/uk/b2c/buy/price-and-spec-guides/pdfs/5008-suv-price-spec-guide.pdf

As it says in their webpage – “dam peugeot” ?

PSA group have been one of the worst for specification changes, infact I go as far as sa saying the whole of of the Stellantis group.

If I didn’t get the car I ordered or spec I deem necessary for mine or my daughters conditions I’d tell them to shove the car where thesun don’t shine and walk away. I knowits a pain especially having waited over year for one. At the end of the day its the principle but, I’d be looking what other vehicles were suitable and ring round see if any dealers had one in stock I could have or if they had any preorders in the pipeline they would be willing to put my name to! I suspect

                            Stevie, your absolutely right.
If I’m completely honest, but bearing in mind I’m a High Alert over thinker and analyser, I believe they, the dealer are trying to pull a fast one. The continuous lies between it not being built and being built and in Sheerness, to not being informed, i genuinely believe they are intentionally pulling a fast one because I am disabled and they think I’m dumb.

Ill see what this PA comes back with, this model isn’t even on the scheme anymore so I’m not holding my breath, they could easily sell it I reckon.

                            It’s all just a nightmare.

I don’t know what items missing are needed for your disability but it’s been known for a long time cars have been arriving with certain items missing, the electric tailgate on a 5008 is well known not to be fitted due to the chip shortage.

So to update. A compromise has been made, in my favour between Peugeot and I.

Now just waiting for the dealership to make the necessary arrangements and happy days.

Is it the same car, Or are they adding some of the extras, or are you paying a lower ap?

Sorry for the delay. It was a reduction in AP by Peugeot as a, “goodwill gesture”.
