I had a stone hit the windscreen yesterday & a crack about a third of the width of the windscreen appeared. (Front passenger side). I went into Autoglass as motsbility insurance partner – they’ve stated the earliest for a full windscreen replacement would be 15th July – almost a full month.
1/ is this the usual timeframe

2/ I’m concerned about driving in case it encroaches further and into drivers  side but for now it’s across front passenger field of vision

3/ anyone knows the legal requirements for driving and larger windscreen cracks ??
