Up to see the grandkids first, then off to my daughters for dinner.

Christmas can be a hard time for some, especially those on their own. It would be nice if we could all make an effort on Christmas day to post something. Maybe just a “Merry Christmas” or a photo of your dinner.

Maybe Pops will be in his hot tub, no photos required Pops lol.

For many, a choice between chicken or ham for Xmas luncheon?

We have turkey and ham, both, as we like to live on the edge. Roast potatoes pigs in blankets, gravy, Brussels sprouts, carrots roasted swede, various coleslaw pasta mix with garlic bread.

Soup to start I like lentil but we all put in our own favourite in advance, with freshly baked bread and loads of salted butter.

for desert we have Mackies ice cream with various cheese cakes, mixed fruit and extra thick double cream.

later on we have a cheese board before we start on the sweets.
