What to do?

Currently have an auto kadjar. Not the best car ever but had to have it because at the time it was the only decent one which my under 25 can drive. Engine gearbox economy is excellent. There is too many cost cutting evident in the car.

My offspring will have a further 8 months to wait before turning 25 after my lease finishes.

Unfortunately due to my disability I am a not so proud owner of a large frame. This means my seat is at the far back position. Leg room for the rear passenger is a bit tight. 95% of the time it’s just me in the car.

      I have three options:-

      1. Get a Suzuki Vitara auto or seat ateca auto which is the only decent under 25 auto I can find. Need to check them for rear legroom etc. Or

      2. Get a larger car and my offspring has to wait 8 months before driving it. I tend to do the majority of driving.

      3. See if I can extend the current lease by say 6 months. Is that possible or is it minimum 1 year extension?

Look forward to hearing your views.

If you extend your lease you are not duty bound to keep the vehicle for the full duration of the extension, I would extend for a year and three months before the offspring turns 25 start looking for a replacement.

I’m confident that Motability will advise along similar lines if you call them and explain your predicament.

If I seem a little strange, that's because I am.

        Skoda Karoq SEL.

Eight months will go by very quickly.

My advice would be to concentrate on getting the most suitable vehicle for your own needs regardless of insurance group.
