BeauHi all,
Does anyone know why the Tiguan petrol 1.5 tsi petrol isn’t showing on the Scheme?

Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally I get confused and often say the wrong thing.

BeauI’ve had a look on the VW website and there definitely is a 1.5 tsi petrol 2wd rline tech model,
Perhaps it’s new to the range.September 3, 2019 at 11:48 am #86724
72 DudesBefore taking the plunge, you might want to google something like “problems with the VW group 1.5 TSi engine”.
Kangarooing when on the warm up cycle, worse in manual transmission cars but certainly not unheard of in automatics, and as yet, VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda have not been able to come up with a proper fix – that’s if they even acknowledge the fact that there is a problem.
If it were me I’d pay the extra for the 2.0 TSi or (shame on me!) go diesel.

BrianIs it not the older R-Line TSI EVO 2WD which was only available from stock and has been replaced with R-LINE <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>TECH</span> but now only appears in diesel?

BeauYes It is the new rline tech, but the website lists it as a current model. It’s even on their site configuator so not an only from stock spec.
We simply want a petrol RLine auto tech in 2wd as their site lists.
Maybe it was a WLTP issue and will return to the scheme next quarter.
