Im sure this has already been posted before but are you allowed to tint your car windows or do you need to get permission from RSA/Motability?

Yes. Motability will allow it if the tints are legal, that is only behind the B pillar. And you probably should notify them…

Just a shout out if you’re anywhere near Portsmouth and thinking of having your car windows tinted. Had mine done a couple of years ago by Tintex and you won’t find a better company to do them or one that uses the highest quality materials. Very reasonable cost too. Just read their reviews if you’re doubtful! I thoroughly recommend them… and no, I don’t have any family or Company links whatsoever to them or anything else.

if you have expensive mobility equipment it is worth doing we had the xtrail done was £140 in Telford looked fantastic was cool and you couldn’t see equipment etc last time on the Alhambra we used car shades from car shades U.K. they are surprisingly good plus obviously you can remove should you wish I think they were around £65 for a full set
