Selenium greyYeah it is, A lot off ppl been getting them alot better value than a t-roc as well spec wise and bigger.. if you need a higher car with the bigger boot the allspace is another option being 7 seats not in r-line though… decsions descions only in diesel though the r-line/ the sel you can get the 2.0l petrol and the nicer ergo seats but less tech and stuff was one i looked at a while back.. seat alteca seem alright as well but there no dealers near me so i’ve not seen them but are more trim engine combos on the scheme..
By the look of things you’ll probably be looking at a September delivery at the earliest. I went for the 2.0 150 diesel manual, excellent value at £1749. Luckily I ordered through JCT600 when their offer was on so £600 off the AP. Now just waiting for it to built/ship and arrive.

On the 8th June you state “the search begins”, and three days later you’re hoping for a 5th September delivery date on a Tiguan.
You must have had a very short shortlist.
Well i had the tiguan top of the list to start with

3008,5008,terraco and compass were considered but swmbo has spoken
We usually order at this time of year anyway for sept handover but expecting it to be a bit later due to current climate

spoke with vw and stock only no factory build as its due a facelift and not a lot of choice in stock so if anyone wants a tiguan be quick

Indeed normally i’d agree but It’s been 0ver 155 days for me now and still not had the keys was arranged for monday just gone but is an issue with registering hondas ordered on the scheme and it don’t seem like anytime soon it will change either, Expecting some info from motability next week on the situtation.
So i might be starting my search allover again..
My dad wanted to get the tiguan for hes next car, went to enquire about getting one and was told that they aren’t being built anymore other than current orders and they are extremely hard to source so sadly had to go for next best thing the seat tarraco. Sooo your rather lucky to get one! Enjoy 🙂

got a test drive arranged in a seat atecca on monday 22nd june,couldn’t find any vw dealers up for a deal ,

File28 ,this time last year the spec changed on some tiguans .ie the s e l, they were available to order july 1st then built in august and picked up start of september, so it could be worth hanging in there for a week or so ,also gives dealers time to find there feet dealswise.

i’m liking the spec and look of the seat so i’ll give it a drive and with the seat dsg version come in at 1599 AP it starts off a lot cheaper than the VW

Selenium greyJust seen the same is happening with the ateca (facelift.) So you might find it stock only aswell but you could be lucky. The new spec will be called xperience and xperience lux ,fr and frsport so you cant mistake it.
