finally made the leap and cancelled my lease early, cost me £50 but needs must.

the back is getting worse and getting in and out of a 3dr mini is getting harder, i wont get to september the normal end date.

test drove the bmw i3’s and the mini countryman today and the countryman won, the seat and ride over our local roads was just that bit more comfortable.

the local stratstones have a £500 contribution to ap offer on again so it paid for the extra comfort/nav+ pack so all i have to pay is £285.

but motability now give you a pro-rata gcb at the end of your lease if you end it early and for me that works out at £400. so at the end of the day i will be up.

      roll on mid march lol.

      mini countryman 2.0 cooper s auto exclusive comfort/nav+ , brg,white roof,white leather, cant wait.

Did you have to surrender your old car first before applying for the new one? Or did they extend the lease until your new car arrives?

I would advice caution on relying on the pro-rata for the GCB if you have not completed a full 3 year term, I would want Motability to confirm its on the GCB and not in fact on the original AP, in their own statements they make it it very vague, I would want it in email confirmation from them before relying on what could be the word of a newly trained call handler that may have got things muddled.

bird, yes i keep this one till its ready.

noel, yes exactly the same colour scheme except for the bonnet stripes.

js, pro rata on both gcb £400 the extras i paid for £97.00. i went through it several times with her.

there was no ap when i got this car only the extras.

checked on the motability progress checker and its 3 ticks all approved by them so its just a case of waiting for pin number and mini to build it, happy days.
