Hi! Another question from me. I have my Ohme installation in 3 weeks but just wanted to prepare myself. I know I have to download the Ohme app prior to the installation. However I need to set up the electric tariff on the app too or do I need to contact my electricity supplier? I am assuming I need to stay with octopus as they are my current supplier. I still don’t have a delivery date for the car so was also wondering if I can set up the EV tariff prior to the car delivery too? Thanks in advance.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

Okay thank you, will look at you tube. I am hoping to go with octopus intelligence as I think they have fixed 7p per kWh charge.

Yes, even with the October price rises it’s still 7p from 23:30 to 05:30

That said, using the Ohme App and Smart Charging (where they give you multiple smaller charge slots to help balance the grid) I just tried a top up and got given slots between 13:00 and 18:00 today and as it’s Smart Charging it’s still at 7p  🙂

And of course it would be a shame not to take advantage of tonights 6 hours of cheaper electricity so washing machine, dishwasher and tumble dryer are going on at 23:30 🙂

That is great, thank you for the helpful information. Definitely worth taking advantage of cheap electricity too.
