Self-Isolation

Is anyone else totally self-isolating?  Other than a quick drive down and up the A3 last week I haven’t left the house and garden since March 17th.

Groceries get delivered once a week.  These days DH answers the door, brings the bags in and puts the shopping away before sticking the empty bags in the wheelie-bin, washing his hands and cleaning the kitchen surfaces.

      Just curious.

“Terrifying” – well that depends on how much of it and what else you eat surely.

thats a good point smallcar, since ive been laid low with the slipped disc and spinal artiritis on top of my knee issues ive been trying to get my weight back down to some where near normal as ive put on a bit over the last 3 years. so ive taken part in schemes run by our council and one was about diet and reading labels etc and calculating your daily calouries etc. and it turned out my standard diet was actually less than the 2500 accepted need for men. so it just shows how your diet may be good but being unable to exercise means even a standard diet puts your weight up if your not burning it off.

but one thing i was quite pleased about my salt and sugar intake was almost down to the reccomended maxs, the odd blip over 12 weeks but nothing alarming.

so weve taken it down to almost 2000 cals and weight is stable now. its just the lack of exercise thats the big issue and i am struggling with that.
