Expect they didn’t know they were not going to produce one.
Does op mean they are no longer being made or just taken off Motability?
January 15, 2021 at 4:42 pm #136492I think atm they have stopped production of that particular engine.

OutriggerI think there must be issues with this engine because the new VW Tiguan was supposed to launched with the same one but that never came to fruition.

OutriggerI contacted Seat UK today and they informed me that the 2.0tsi 190ps has been removed as it will no longer available .It is to be replaced with an RDE2 compliant engine available from this quarter.I understand it will 2.0 tsi 200 ps rather 190.So our order which has not been built yet will have the new engine …happy days.
January 18, 2021 at 3:39 pm #136760Happy days indeed
Could create quite a bit of interest on the scheme

Harry<p style=”text-align: left;”>Isnt that over the limit? Petrol cars need to be under 200bhp so 199bhp?</p>
If not and the Leon comes on at 200bhp im going to be gutted after ordering the 150bhp FR Sport.January 19, 2021 at 7:17 am #136804<p style=”text-align: left;”>Isnt that over the limit? Selenium greyJanuary 19, 2021 at 9:07 am #136811I really hope this happens. We are due to order in Q2 and this would certainly tick all our boxes.

machocoAs long as its assigned a motability ordering code should be okay.
otherwise will need to reorder when a code is available.

Ronster200ps is roughly 197bhp I believe so under the cap.

HarryYeah for whatever reason you can have a higher bhp if its a hybrid but not if its only petrol. Whats the difference dont understand the logic behind that. What is the Hybrid limit is it 225?

OutriggerOf course this is a VAG generic engine. Therefore the VW Tiguan 2.0 tsi AWD that was supposed to be on the Scheme on launch might now re appear with this updated engine .Good news for the Tiggy fans.

OutriggerDelivery moved to end of April now. That’s 6 months.!!! .Obviously the introduction of this new 2.0 tsi causing a few production issues.Just as well we like our current X1 which we have had for nearly 5 years.

John MorrisYeah it’s the engine that’s the problem. We ordered 29/12 and had a call last week saying our car was being built this week and we will be collecting on the 1st of March for the new reg. 1.5tsi FR sport. Lots of the 1.5tsi available
