Looks like the id5 is coming back January, not sure its better value over the enyak? Will have to wait for skodas prices ? also id4 is reduced style pro is £1499 which seems good value.

Looked at both, the id4/5  not as nice an interior to the Enyaq, and most motor journalists agree.

Apologies for original poor spelling, bad eye day

I was hoping these hideous HRV/SUV/ COUPE HYBRID things would not become so common, alas.

Where have you got this information from ?  I thought new prices were not revealed until Jan 1st and 2nd ?

Bit easier to read?, PiP/DLA £2,995 for base Style trim level, £1,653 on WPMS

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

I was having a quick look last night and I think the memory seats and lumbar support is now part of a £1400 pack which if I’ve read it right is poor on a £50k car

I hate having to add extras because there not covered by the insurance

The reason why mire and more companies are going to option packs is out company car tax situation, where the employee pays tax on the base price of the car, not on options.

This isn’t any help to motability customers, but unless MB went to car plus option 1, 2 or 3 pricing, then its nit going to change

I thought it was well established now that factory fitted options are covered by insurance, but after-market ones are not?

They are generally covered for repairs but if the car is written off then any extra packs paid for outside the AP are not refunded, only a pro-rata amount of the original AP.
