Hi All,

I have a Renault Kangoo 2008 WAV which has a Constable ramp conversion. I used it to get my dad around as he suffered with dementia. Sadly he passed away in the spring but I am keen to pass this vehicle onto a friend whose dad also has poor mobility. My problem is that the ramp brackets underneath the car are badly corroded and in need of some TLC but Constables are no longer trading. I am based in Leicestershire but can travel if anyone knows a company that might be able to help either restore the ramp fitted or fit a newer version ?

Any help / suggestions would be really appreciated as I really want to help my friend and her family.

Is there a local Driving Mobility assessment centre near you (there some info on motabilty Website), I imagine they would be able to advise on someone who does adaptions. I’d probably be cheeky and nip to one of your local car dealers who do Motability and ask them who does their adaptions
