Raining on pickup day!

      It’s a shame to be collecting a new car in rubbish weather isn’t it.  Much better at the start of summer but oh well!

       

      In my experience the hubs of new cars get rusty very quickly especially if jetwashed and they’re so visible through alloy wheels. Why are these areas not coated in rust-resistant paint? They don’t stay looking new for two minutes 🙁

        Insist on having the car inside the showroom so you can inspect it. Two garages for that for me when I picked up my cars.

          @injector You could take your car to a specialist Detailing company. They can apply coating to wheel hubs after they have been cleaned and prepared. Not cheap thought.

            Do ya mean the actual hubs, or the disks getting rusty?

            I wouldnt bother either way. The car is not made of sugar…lol.

            Thats what ma pal Matty used to say if we got rained on while outside, we are not made of sugar, we wont dissolve.
