when we ordered our EV we calculated roughly what we thought our electric payment would increase by using a home charger, but instead of waiting We increased  it immediately and as such we have covered the first year or so of electric motoring, particularly with the delays in delivery, also what we will do now every 150 miles we estimate we would have spent £25 on diesel so we put it in a separate savings account. Non of this is going to last forever so may as well take advantage now.

It is something I wish I’d done since 2014 and would advise other to do it now if they can… the money previously spent on fuel put away and save it up.
