Problems with ’22 Mercedes

      Hi has anyone that has mercedes car had probkems with mercedes me app,this app was very helpfull first year letting me check on mobile phone if car locked windows shut ( as they have habbit opening as control just where drivers arm rest is ) but since its first service the usefull app no longer functions ,new 5G phone wont connect to car,?? When i got to dealership for service ,because of alterations to dealership, they had no disabled entrance, acess was up steep stairs, wheelchair and carerer cojld nor access, so i had to return home ,no service ,and they came to pick car up up from home & return it week later , but now since service car wont comunicate with phone or helpfull app, mercedes me app center has been no help ,often reply to emails in german,?.  And when was in english just ask same questions , i gave up with them ,The car is booked in again in june ,to be collected & returned FIXED I HOPE.

      Im not sure i would ever want a mercedes car again, if it was on scheme, the deeealership rep was attentive but company not very good ,i understand during covid not everyone got the cars they ordered, well i hope it gets sorted,.

          Hi Micky

          I have a CLA 180 Shooting Brake premium plus. I was lucky to find one in stock in a dealers in Ascot that was a cancelled motability order. (I did put some pics up when I collected it.) This was in October 2020 so it has all the bells and whistles before all the chip problems. I absolutely adore the car and have had no issues in the two and a half years I’ve had it and I’ve covered 33000 miles. The only suggestion I can say is to try and delete the app and reinstall,  again I can’t really help having not had any issues with the app myself.

          I don’t know what to do when I’m due to start looking for a new car in July,  I may order something I know will take for ever to arrive so I have the option to  cancel if the scheme ever gets back to “normal ” I would happily extend but due to the mileage I’m not sure it would be allowed. May bite the bullet and just purchase a three year old CLA as I don’t think I’d want one but since then with all the good stuff removed. I hope you find an answer to your problems and enjoy the car the way I have. Take care mate

              I’ve got a 2019 A Class merc and the Mercedes me app still works for me.  Have you tried deleting the app and reinstalling it? Make sure you know your log in details first . Or failing that removing the car from the app and re adding it.  I have a feeling you need to know the VIN number for the car to re add it.  My dealer set mine up when I picked the car up so not sure on what details are needed

                Hi Micky,

                I have a B200 first registered in January 2020 and my app works perfectly plus I have just changed my phone to 5G and it connected straight away with no issues As suggested before try uninstalling the app and then re installing but only if you have the original password and I believe pin.

                I would also suggest trying a different dealership as they should be able to sort it easily enough for you if you have one within a reasonable distance.

                  i had same issue reinstalling it worked and sorted it out but also check your emails as you might need to update an agreement as ive had 3 of those now that went to junk box

                    Thanks folks, yes ive had lots of terms conditions emails they dont all make sence to me but i jave agreed with terms , ininstalled reinstalled app several times ,it wont function.

                    BUT heres something ,i read online  ( many mercedes car app users  )  are haveing problems with app connecting , its they say an issue between mercedes & 02 mobile network, many people on 02 have this problem, im with tesco mobile they use 02 network,

                    I am fed up with trying get it connected. I will live without it , maybe 02 will look into it and it will be fixed.  MANY PEOPLE HAVE THIS 02 Mercedes APP conection problem

                        Thankyou for all suggestions i done all of those to try get it functioning ,its been over 2 months without it. I think i can live without it ,unless mercedes & 02 can get connections fuctioning. Thankyou.

                          25.4.23. Ref mercedes me app defunct ,Mercedes me connect have just emailed me asking for same information about my app not functioning for me for 4th time , I have to think they can’t don’t want fix it , at least the car has no running problems, but I would not have another Mercedes car ,even if they do come back onto scheme ,its Mercedes company, awfull customer care. When I change car I will hope there is a sizeable suv on scheme .  This is all i see on the app .Keep well folks.1

                            ring your  merc motability guy who you ordered from and see what they say as they might not have activated it for you
