does that mean i cant post
It means that your post may take a little while to show, as one of the mods will have to approve it. Should you wish to register, totally optional, then your post will not have to be approved but will show straight away.
i was registered but it keeped logging me out and i couldnt get log back in

Let me put things in perspective for you ajn. The reason this measure has been implimented is because of trouble causing non registered posters. Who come to stir things up and spam posters.
By impliamenting this measure helps us stop these posts, as we have to approve each one from unregistered posters.

ajn, your spate of posts is rather childish in my opinion. I enjoy your posts but you’re taking the Mickey today.
WMC, Joss and I don’t have to be here on the forum. We give our time freely to enable posters and browsers to keep in touch with the latest news about vehicles and availability etc. and to offer a place for people who share a lot of similar day to day problems and situations to share thoughts and feelings and be supported by like minded individuals.
Your effort today to increase our workload is not appreciated, even though I can see you’re making a heavy handed point.
This forum has to be moderated. If posters aren’t happy with that, I’m not going to apologise for the hard work WMC, Joss and myself put in to keeping the site up and running.

The main purpose of this forum, in my opinion, is to allow the exchange of information, news and opinions on cars, specifically those available or likely to be available on Motability and more generally developments within the industry itself. If this can be done with a degree of humour all the better, but it should be done within limits, both respecting the forum rules and the moderators who are responsible for what is posted.
You all do great work guys! Keep it up!
One thing I’ve noticed since the update is when I click on the latest post on a thread, if the post hasn’t been approved yet, I’m directed to the top of the thread rather than the most recent post.
I understand that I can’t read it if it hasn’t been approved but is there a way to automatically take me to the most recent approved post?
Im using iPhone/safari to access the forum and not sure if it has something to do with that specifically.No worries if there’s nothing that can be done. It was just an observation. It might also save a bit of wear and tear on my thumb on longer threads lol

No its not just using your phone as I get the same using the Opera browser on a desktop PC.

Who is actually approving the posts?Might be worth registering with the forum @Gettinold, then your posts should be ok.
Maybe the approval of posts gets approved when a moderator is available, until then it’s like a holding area..
yup you will alas need to await a mod becoming available.

Forgive me for not instantly authorising your post @Gettinold. Bear in mind that Sunday is family time, whem my family comes together for Sunday Dinner and conversation. It is a difficult time where we are dealling with spammer-and trouble makers.
May I Suggest you get yourself registered, that way your post won’t need to be aurthorised
