Applied for mine at the end of April as I turned 66 in June.
Got an email in May saying I should hear by June 28th, if not ring. So ramg on the 28th to be told I can’t ring until the 29th!. So rang again and oh yes it’s all here, will be in touch shortly.
Rang again, no idea we only do the calculations, someone will ring you in 5-7 working days, never happened. Repeat again for 2 more months.
So, having been struggling a bit with being almost £95 a week short for almost 5 months I rang again today, 39mins to get through and they had no idea what’s going on 🙁
Transferred me to the pensions enquiry team, another 20+mins wait. Finally got through and big surprise, no idea either. Had to do the whole assessment again over the phone (so I rather think they lost my original one).
Nice man says I should get a letter in a couple of days and hopefully a back payment in about a week or so.
Not holding my breath 🙁
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
