Order Cancellation Timeframe

      I just wondered if anyone knows how long it takes a dealership to cancel an order and for it to go through on MBs end?

      My mum ordered a Suzuki Vitara in March after being completely charmed by the sales guy. It’s a nice enough car but we’ve both come to realise that it just isn’t as well suited to her needs as other vehicles available on the scheme. She’s contacted Suzuki who have agreed to cancel it but they’ve given no time frame as to when it will be done.

        You’re at the mercy of the dealer, it takes them a few minutes to cancel your order but they’ll do it when they want.

        Once they have cancelled the order it should reflect on your MB online account almost immediately.

        Keep checking your account, once it has gone off you can reorder straight away.

        If the dealer drags their heels pester them until it’s done.

          I found if the dealer is slow in canceling your order down then Motability will do this for you but you will have to tell them to help in this as they have done this for me before they will of course ask you to contact your dealer but if they are dragging there feet then ask.
