In the past some new engines have gained a reputation for excessive oil consumption, Audi was an example. Fortunately most manufacturers have overcome oil consumption problems, my Q3 has not used any noticeable amount in its first 2000 miles. However my question is, if any engine needs topping up between services, is the cost covered by Motability ?
