Many car dealerships in the UK have now announced the temporary closure of their car showrooms. Some are currently looking at ways that they can continue offer limited servicing, maintenance and repair services through their workshops to help their local communities at this difficult time, especially key workers.

Where possible, Kwik Fit centres remain open however they are currently reviewing the scale of the services they offer.

Furthermore, in response to the latest Government announcement yesterday, the Motability Scheme is currently closed to all new applications.

For the latest information and advice, including answers to many of the questions about the effects of COVID-19 on the running of the scheme, visit the news section of the Motability website.

Our local Honda sales and servicing is open today and it’s right next to the police station.

Had an email from my local Ford dealer last week saying “open as usual” with the taking care message, today had another “where closed”.
