Anyone seen , test driven, ordered a new Ford Puma ?? General views on it – the spec on the first edition Models misses nothing !!! But it’s a bit on the small side

I’ve seen one at my local main dealers I guess it’s ok if you need a hatchback with a deep boot with the plastic tray insert.

I’m amazed Ford get away with calling it an SUV though it’s not what I’d call an SUV.

The only proper suv’s are Land Rover series and Defender IMHO.

Fair point, Landyman.  My older sister got herself a 20+ year old Land Rover when she was at Uni in Swansea, drove it all over Wales and the South of England for 3 years with no problems and then sold it for more than she paid for it.  That was 40 years ago and I bet it’s still working now . . . 😀

. . . Mind you, even though it’s not a ‘proper’ SUV I’m pretty sure I could scrape by with one of these, if only because it has a “ludicrous mode”

              In deep blue metallic, please.

Ford aren’t marketing it as a ‘SUV’ but a ‘Crossover’ – much like my Toyota C-HR. Think chunky/tall hatchback!

I really like the look of the new Puma myself. It’s only available in manual transmission at the moment although a 7-speed dual clutch version is due within the next few months.

Solent yes they do call it the Puma SUV and are telling us it’s a crossover? and market it as a suv one look online.
It’s smaller then the Toyota and every other SUV.
