No photos, its a blue car!!
I picked up my car end of last week and here are my first impressions compared with the outgoing ID3 Max. We went up to the rugby at Murrayfield, Edinburgh, a round trip of about 160 miles.
What I like:
Love the screen and software. I assume the hardware will be much improved as everything is much snappier.
The headlights are much improved and we didn’t get flashed once.
Car comfort in general, it is clearly a bigger car affording more space. It is almost too wide for elbow comfort!
The range is great. To be able to get up to Murrayfield and back on 80% with no sweat is just brilliant. And it was below 5 C at times.
Even Laura works to an extent!
What I miss:
HUD, I wish I had a HUD but not paying £2k!
Motorway self overtaking. I don’t seem to have that on this Edition model.
What I don’t miss:
DCC – the Yak drives just fine.
Glass roof – the blind was always closed and only opened to show people. I would never choose that option.
Overall, very happy, no surprises and a joy to drive.
