accross the field behind us is the chesterfield canal and the field is partly flooded year round.

it has been as close as 20 feet from our estate.

due to recent events they have had to bring in assistance in the form of pumps and although nearly half a mile away you can hear them  one two one two one two every half second.

if the winds in the wrong direction its worse.

4 days now.

So looking on the bright side. You don’t get flooded as the pumps are doing a vital job.

Same for me, so long as I hear clicks I know my heart is pumping blood. 🙂
