Awaiting arrival of my Megan E TEC Iconic

Just received VIN Number and invited to sign up to MY RENAULT free ORANGE 3GB* data plan

Not fully signed up as yet but see something about the data plan is for 6 months

Anyone know if this standard differs and is extended for the 3yr motorbility lease?

You get free gb of data from over 6 months via. Built in sim, if that runs out you pay I think 6.99 a month for a GB, or you can just use your phone as a hotspot, but don’t confuse this with the map data that stays on (so traffic ect will always work)

most owners just use phone hotspot

no problem, enjoy the car, the advantage of this over other ev’s is the 22kw charger, so if you shop at tesco, just nipping in for something the podpoints are free for 15 minutes still and at 22kw your going to arrive home with more miles than you left with lol 🙂

also being run on android automotive has some big advantages, if you have a google speaker in your house and put a smart bulb on driveway on porch as you approach your house you can say hey google turn on driveway or porch light etc.

Looks like there will be plenty to play about with

Perso setting will be handy as I can set up things to suit me

And the FAV button will also make life easier

Few months to wait yet

but doing a little homework now in preparation

wont hurt
