Afternoon All,

Would Motability consider offering a Grant towards a car if an order has been placed?
I know it may sound stupid but with how uncertain the market is waiting 10 weeks for a decision from them and then the car you did want is no longer on the scheme it has happened before to me…so my question is has anyone ordered a car and then managed to get Motability to review the case for a grant?

Also I have test drove the car I really like and it’s perfect for my needs. My only issue is I find it difficult to get in and out with it being an SUV compared to initially having a hatchback (need the extra space)
Would Motability help with adding running boards or some sort of supporting platform to stand on before getting in/out of the vehicle?

Have you not considered an estate, we have Octavia Auto ETech mild hybrid estate, the boot is big enough for a scooter or wheelchair. It also very low. But there are a few on the scheme, have a look at the Toyota Corolla estate.
