the last couple of days with the warmer weather ive had the door and some windows open and its noticable that a goodly number of the male residents have taken to their sheds given the banging and hammering eminating around the estate.

how many here have taken sanctuary or are you grinning and bearing being stuck with the other half/kids, or in these days of equality have you consigned the others to the shed?

Have quite a small shed; mainly used for mower storage. However, mowers and all other usable tools now moved to garage to allow stupid robins to raise their young. Went in to get shears few days back to be greeted by very angry pointy beak and aggressive stare. I suppose it’s not that bad a place for a home – sheltered, plenty of room etc. But, c’mon, what’s wrong with TREES then? Damn messy untidy bit of nest-building though,  bits of it falling everywhere. Bet it didn’t get planning permission.
