JohnI just want some opinions of people who already have this car? We took one for a test drive yesterday and aside from the back being slightly cramped, we couldn’t fault it. Also at £995 AP the price is excellent especially as we get the £750 towards it. Any obvious problems?

She’s Italian Mike, and to be fair she finds fault in every car they have!
I’m still to have a drive in one, it does look great.July 31, 2023 at 7:19 am #228715Oh I didn’t know Andy I’m sure his name is Andrew till looks lovely home in the countryside the colour I’d choose would be ceramic grey or flame red with black roof
July 31, 2023 at 7:34 am #228717Main issues I’ve seen online are the brake pedal can feel a bit weird, it’s cramped / dark in the back (this wouldn’t be much of an issue for us) and visibility out the back window isn’t great. It also has a very deep load lip in the boot.
The higher spec model has a smart rear view mirror / camera (and a heat pump I think) but is an extra £1000 or so on the scheme.July 31, 2023 at 11:29 am #228735
RichardI have a Megan e tec top of the range
I have been very fortunate that I have had far to many cars enough for 3 lifetimes but I absolutely love my Megan it has all the tec you could ever want except it does not park for you but it’s has the 360 camera which makes it a doddle,it’s a nice sedate drive or a 230 bhp flying machine if you are that way inclined it is so nice to drive very responsive steering and very good suspension even with 20inch wheels there is no crashing over pot holes it is also very planted and holds the road very well I’m yet to feel any issue no matter how I have taken a bend.
im 6ft 2 and have no issue getting in and out as well as adjusting the seats, the Harmon/lardon stereo is a joy and so is the satnav I’ve had no issues with the voice activation…unfortunately I have been using it far more than I envisaged and using public chargers has cost me £180 in the last 7 weeks I’m gutted that this car is going back as I absolutely love driving it it’s just not viable for me as public chargers are expensive ,I’m unable to work so sorry to see her go…July 31, 2023 at 11:30 am #228737
DavidI think its a bargain, unfortunately, too small in the rear for our SEN buggy.

RichardHi Menorca Mike,
There is a lot of adjustment on the seat I’m 6ft 2 so it’s right down for me but my other half is only 5ft tall so she requires quite a bit of height adjustment as it’s a leaver you just have to take a bit of weight off the seat and the adjuster Handel pumps up fine. Hope this helps send any questions I’m very happy to answer..
August 6, 2023 at 3:24 pm #229238Weird that the base model Equilibre has now joined the scheme at the same AP as the mid range Techno!
