i came on here to find out mazda 6 was back,yesssss.then i found out the tourer is only available in manual.as I’m a wheelchair user and my wife is too we prefer estate’s and toddler that comes with lots of everything lol can’t express how gutted iam.motability also said they have no information to if or when it will be be on the scheme.there are still lots of other options of cars but I’ve wanted the mazda for a while.ive been with ford for 14 years and want a change.is this anything to do with price cap, if it is its a bit unfair.

Nothing to with the price cap wibbuk as far as i can tell. Motability set price and bhp caps, then manufacturers decide which cars they want on the scheme within those parameters.

You’re not the first and probably not the last to note your disatisfaction that the 6 has no auto’s on the scheme, perhaps you can vent this and ask Mazda via their online form if they plan to introduce auto’s on to the scheme for Q4 – https://www.mazda.co.uk/12268/

I’m in exactly the same position as you as you will see from the above posting. Further to what I wrote I have visit another dealer who talk ed utter garbage in trying to explain why a auto was not available in the tourer.

To day I have called Mazda customer services at Gravesend, who are hopefully going to give me a call tomorrow with an update on it if one is likely to be on the new list on the 1st October.

Trouble is I have to order a ford mondeo titanium estate auto tomorrow to take advantage of the low price as it look likely that will go up on the 1st. So I’m stuck, order and have to cancel the Ford  if the Mazdas is included or wait and find the Ma,said is not included and pay more for the ford.

just an update, got in touch with mazda today and they will not be adding the mazda 6 tourer auto next Q4.
