Got a letter yesterday with my new cars reg and date it was done and insurance etc.

Does this mean its sat at the dealers teasing me as not allowed to collect at the minute.

Never enter your PIN until you have thoroughly checked over the car and you are happy with it.

According to BMW online it was in the country 2 weeks ago before the lock down.  Hopefully won’t have to wait too long.

As insurance is done it means its at dealer as there the one’s that put reg plate on and apply for insurance.looks like you could window shop your car??

I’m due to collect mine on the 15th of April and my cars been at the dealers for quite a while in their compound he said. The day before they closed they called me.

I guess we’ll have to wait till the showrooms are open again hopefully not to long.

I know my reg as well, as i’m having my personal plate put on it, that’s been on retention so i don’t lose it..

I hope the cars gonna be ok as it maybe outside, depends how long this all go’s on for and worstcase imo  showrooms are closed for say 3 to 4 months. I may never enter that pin then but what about my plate.

I was due delivery this week.  The Dealer mailed last week when closing to the public that they would try to sort something out for collection when they get it in the showroom but I’m not holding out much hope.

I’m in Doncaster the cars in Scunthorpe so no window shopping.
