Hey me again!

so my Sportage on motability runs out on the 22nd February this year. At present still can’t find a car suitable with an AP u can afford. Both myself and my daughter who is 10 are disabled and the Sportage is fine except for the fact I need a power boot and an auto handbrake. As I have nerve dame in left hand and some days it’s agony or can’t use it at all.
my car is an auto so already I e expected a higher AP. I need space for 2 wheelchairs but don’t warrant a WAV.

because my lease is so close to Q2 date and Q1 shocking so far with choice for us do you think motability would extend my lease for another week. I know I would have to wait for a car anyways so would a week make any difference to them? My service and MOT is in two weeks anyways so won’t be waiting to have that as will have been done.

Hi Laura, you can extend for up to 2 years and you can then order another car at anytime during that extension. Even if that means you placing an order only one week after extending.

Q2 prices come out on the 1st of april so would need to extend for 5 weeks at least however if you dont find a new car before the 22nd of February they will extend your lease for another 6 months to give you time to look further and in this 6 month period you can order a new car at any time and will not have to wait until the end of that 6 months to change over.
