I went in for them to check my Tyre pressure, only to find out I need my front tyres changed!

Luckily the had 2 in stock, so I was on my way in 30 minutes with 2 new one’s.

So very good service ??

So don’t believe everything you hear about shoddy service, it’s a good service ?

I had a tyre that needed changing,gave them a ring,came next day with their mobile service,changed the tyre and done in no time,top class service

Yes Tardelli – good service for you this time.

But that isn’t always the case with Kwik Fit. I have had very hit & miss service from them over the years.

The only observation on my old Motability car when it was handed back was that the tread depth on the tyres was really low.

The car had been into Kwik-Fit in various locations in the preceding months and all had declined the opportunity to replace them stating Motability wouldn’t approve it until they were literally illegal.

The tread depth of the tyres was red on the previous service so over the course of the following year and another 10K miles they really were not great.

I’d be a lot happier if Kwik-Fit when they decline work like this had to provide you with a document proving you’d been to see them and the work was declined. God forbid you’d ever have to try and explain such a situation to Plod if you were ever stopped for something – I’m sure they’ve heard all the ‘stories’ many times before.

I’m with solent60 on this, sometimes there good, sometimes there not but overall there OK.

In my last 9 years of Motability abd using Kwik Fit they have never once had my tyre size in stock and always had to go back the following day.

Decent enough service though.
