The Electric Viking has just reported that Kia have launched the EV5 in China.

It looks a bit like a scaled down version of the EV9 but has a number of innovations. It is being launched with a starting price of $22,700 in China, has one of the Byd “blade batteries” which on the standard range gives a real world range of 310 miles and long range version has a WLTP range of 700km, real world 410 miles and has a heat pump as standard on the whole range.
