Just making people aware, from 12.01 the ioniq 5 was removed, hopefully this means the my25 version will be added soon.

Would they usually remove them completely for days when a new model arrives ?

Or would they usually replace them with new models at the same time ?

If a vehicle is removed from the scheme what happens to the vehicle you have already ordered? For example my vehicle was supposed to have been delivered this week and I have been notified there’s a delay which now may take months for the vehicle to be delivered.

Nothing happens, your vehicle has already been ordered so that will be honoured and you’ll get it when it arrives for the AP amount at the time of ordering

How would that work if the new ioniq 5 isn’t added to the scheme.

We ordered the ioniq 5 the day Hyundai changed over to my25 on their site.

Our dealer now cannot place an order until Motability add it to the scheme.

If my25 isn’t added to the scheme how does the dealer order our car ?

So, If you have an order on motability site, you should be ok, and be upgraded, however, you are at the mercy of the manufacturer as you ordered a car that is not being made now. Technically you should be provided with a stock car if there are any

We also have an order pending. Email received from motabilty saying

Hyundai are still working on the order for a Hyundai Ioniq 5 Electric Hatchback.

There’s nothing else you need to do. The dealer will update you as soon as there is more information.

Thing is what/when will return back onto the scheme.

My concern is that the AWD I have ordered will not return.

So where does that leave me?

I did notice that other refresh orders Skoda.etc were upgraded.

I have spoken with my dealer, and there is nothing he can do untill motabilty put them onto the scheme, he can then place an order. depending on what motabilty allow for matching my order with the spec.

He does seem to think I will have a car by the end of September, as Hyundai have targets to meet this quarter.
