Due of my daughter special car seat we are looking high and long SUV. Nissan one a s bit small So we deceived go for Tuscon. I have been told by October you will get it.I have ordered Hyundai Tuscon in June with AP £5599.
Salesman from local Hyuindai dealer updating me every month. First moved to December than they move to January . Today received another update , my car will be available by March.
What a ridiciloiuos sitiation and We can not anything on this! Also there is no more suitable car on the scheme.
Motability should be do something. everyday dealer removing the cars. they should start to do something different.

my advice on this look on autotrader for dealers that claim stock, phone around the dealers you find and ask would they be willing to let it go to a motability customer if you paid a deposit, if they say yes ring up and cancel the other order and pay deposit to secure the other car…. be prepaired to travel, my last 2 were got like this and I was in them within a week of phoning around. this time round I secured (3rd time round) one sitting at export cerntre and had to wait over a month. be warned though travel will be involved and be willing to take any color.
Ordered my Tucson in October, my date is by March at the latest as well. I would expect the car to be here at the end of January.
To be fair, unless there is a cancellation, 6 to 9 months wait seems to be the norm these days.
