I spoke to a Hyundai rep today about the Electric Kona. Pretty sure they are trying to pull a fast one on me. Told me I can have a 2021 model quickly if I act fast. They have an SE Premium 64kw 2021 model I can get for £1400!! In turquoise. Which is not even an official colour.

They told me it was the top of the range model. Either I’m going mad and their official site and mobility have got it all wrong. But they are trying to fob me off with old model for £700 more than listed.

They have a colour called Dive Blue Solid, which looks abit turquoise

Also the option of having a heat pump is £875 it says on their site when building the car so maybe the one they have has the heat pump option.

Top of the range is HYUNDAI KONA ELECTRIC HATCHBACK 150KW ULTIMATE 64KWH 5DR AUTO

        not the premium.

There is a thread on the kona https://forum.whichmobilitycar.co.uk/forums/topic/the-kona-electric-delivery-time-thread/ I know some have a delay might be more info ion that thread as to if it’s the ultimate or not, or maybe more info.

yeah thats the one ive got.. its 600 currently on motability. dunno where they get 1400.  maybe they have a private buyer for it. up to you if your very keen for a new one now, or wait for 26 weeks min for another.  the ultimate  is 1100.

The Premium SE was the top spec last year (dimpled front) it was replaced by the current top spec Ultimate (smooth front) face lift model.

The Premium SE is no longer on the Motability website so he can’t lease you one.

At one point I think Q4 last year both cars were on the scheme at the same time.

Unless the car has a reference number then the dealer can’t offer it on lease.

indeed it may have heat pump fitted; that would make the price about right i guess

Sounds like you have been charged extra for the heat pump
