Hi, I’m getting a Hyundai Kona EV. I had the original one and loved it, but though the hoist fitted the chair was a struggle to get in, as was the scooter, so the car had to go. The Kona is now bigger, the comfort suits me, which is top priority.
I usually just go for a drive as I can’t be upright for long, occasionally hiring a scooter or powered wheelchair at the other end, but I am wondering whether to get a hoist fitted and my question is if you’ve got a new Kona and a hoist, or even a similar sized car, what, make and model of chair or scooter, do you hoist into it? Thanks.Recent cars: Hyundai Kona Ultimate EV; Volkswagen Caddy Maxi wheelchair accessible; Skoda Enyaq iV SportLine; Vauxhall Mokka-E; Kia Soul EV, Hyundai Kona (again)
