Hi, I’m getting a Hyundai Kona EV. I had the original one and loved it, but though the hoist fitted the chair was a struggle to get in, as was the scooter, so the car had to go. The Kona is now bigger, the comfort suits me, which is top priority. I usually just go for a drive as I can’t be upright for long, occasionally hiring a scooter or powered wheelchair at the other end, but I am wondering whether to get a hoist fitted and my question is if you’ve got a new Kona and a hoist, or even a similar sized car, what, make and model of chair or scooter, do you hoist into it? Thanks.

Mum has the Kona N line S EV and had 40/80kg Autochair hoist fitted for my dads autofold scooter.

Folds away behind back seat or to one side, leaving plenty of room for shopping etc however a standard scooter will fit but, with less space around.

              Hoist was Autochair 4way 80kg.
