Just finished my first tank of petrol since collecting the HRV. Managed to cover 530 miles at an average of 65 mpg. Almost all town driving, with very little dual carriageway yet. The smallish tank cost £47 to fill, which is £20 cheaper than the Audi Q3 it replaced. It’s a really nice car, comfortable and quiet, and although the drive train seems complicated it works well. There is no difference in cabin noise if the engine is running or not. I have seen 60 mph on the speedometer while still in EV mode. Despite the so called professional reviews online, the boot space is good for the size of car. Very pleased, going on a run from Newcastle to Edinburgh next week, so I will see how the fuel economy is affected.
