Drivers are being offered the chance to see the latest electric vehicles first hand – including free test drives – at a series of events in Greater Manchester.
The EV events will include the chance to drive vehicles such as the Jaguar I-Pace
Announced following the declaration of a climate emergency by NHS Greater Manchester earlier this month, the one-stop electric vehicle experience and e-bike showcase is being held this month and next, starting tomorrow (14 September) at Oldham Parliament Square from 10am to 5pm, and moving to other locations across the region in the coming weeks.
Run by Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with Transport for Greater Manchester and Octopus Electric Vehicles, the events will provide locals with the chance to find out more about the latest electric vehicles – including free test drives of models such as the Nissan Leaf, BMW i3, Jaguar I-Pace and Tesla Model 3, plus e-bikes and e-cargo bikes. Experienced Octopus Electric Vehicle specialists will be on hand to answer any questions about choosing the right EV.
