Well as if yesterday’s election wasn’t a big enough horror show! ?

      it’s just dawned on me that’s it’s Fri 13th!

so I was wondering what are your fav horror movies?

i grew up watching the old Hammer Horrors with my Gran back in the Day, so any Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolf Man or Mummy is good with me! With legends such as Boris Karloff, Peter Cushing & Christopher Lee

i still watch them if they come on! Modern day ones  I also like the ones to do with The Occult/Posession although if it’s a good one I have a more restless night than normal ?

so what ones do you like?

forst person to mention Twilight etc gets barred lol

‘Quatermass and the Pit’ (1967 – Hammer Films) still scares me at some deep level.  The sound the Ship makes when it wakes up still give me the willies.  I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched it – easily 30+ times.

Modern ‘horror’ films – I find most are over-hyped and either disappointing or ludicrous or both.

Exception being ‘The Haunting of Hill House’ – yes, that was a series, but it had points where I had to put the TV on ‘hold’ while I braced myself before I could dare to watch.

I went to the “Palace Picture House” to watch Quatermass and the Pit. I watched it again recently and really enjoyed it.
