Hi, I seem to be having trouble loading the forum now and when I am on the site it loads pages very slowly. Does anybody else have this problem. Loading other sites seem to be fine but the which motability forum seem to be very slow and I sometimes get error loading page 503. Just wondered if it is just me.

It has been very slow today. WMC will be fighting the repetitive battle against malignant spam in the background. Please bear with us.

I will get on top of the spammers, sometimes we get hit hard and it slows the site to a standstill.

It appears Google have sent their ‘bots’ in for their weekly indexing of the site at the same time Bing arrived. It will pass shortly and the speed increase, in the meantime I will get on top of  blocking the bad bots. It’s a jungle out there.

Thank you for posting this, I often have moments when the site is slow but it is usually for a second or two while a post is being posted to the server.
