Ours are booked for the 5th of October. Usual reaction is just a sore arm at injection site, for a couple of days. Though everyone is different, So it’s pot luck really, how it will affect the individual.

Tried the NHS site and every appointment is coming up for the week I’m away, will have to book them for when I come back.
Usual after effects for me are one sore arm (Covid) other arm OK but feeling cr@p for a few days starting about 1 or 2 days after the injections.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

My local Boots are worse than useless!
I went online last night and booked my son and I at a pharmacy about 3 miles away with accessible parking, we’re in on the 11th, day after I get back home 🙂

September 27, 2024 at 10:37 am #289394DR’s rang me to book Flu jab, but wouldn’t let me book mrs kezo in at the same time, so booked us in at local Well Pharmacy for Flu Jab for 8th Oct.
As for the Covid jab, its a case of waiting for a appointment letter of the NHS.
Still a twinkle so not eligible for RSV jab 😂

September 27, 2024 at 3:50 pm #289413@Kezo Have you tried the NHS online portal (or App) to book it?, I booked both of us for Flu and Covid no problem. https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/covid-19-services/covid-19-vaccination-services/book-covid-19-vaccination/?wt.mc_id=eva2_002_AW24_emails
Even though its nhs “UK”, it only applies to England and doesn’t apply to Wales etc 😂
September 28, 2024 at 2:16 pm #289484Got a message from GP saying I can book Covid jab, but asking me not to book the flu jab at the same time as they will be doing them at the surgery. I know they get paid for each flu jab they do and don’t want pharmacies taking their profits.
