JojoeI watched that, it was good and informative. I like Rory Reid, see a few of his Autotrader reviews on YouTube. It’s on about 3 times a week so easy to find.
December 10, 2021 at 8:37 am #171292The Skoda Enyaq looks pretty good and they liked it saying it was a nicer car than the ID4 that it’s based on.

kbfernIt’s the best show on tv at present for info on EV’s in fact it’s the ONLY show on tv about EV’s?
Certainly worth watching?

kbfernI have an ID4 on order should be here in Feb/Mar. I tested both ID4 and the Enyaq. Whilst I found the Enyaq to have a few things over the ID4 like larger boot, nicer designed interior and slightly better range there was no Enyaq on the motability scheme.
If I was buying with my own money I would just about choose the Enyaq but you have to be careful what extras you order as the base Enyaq whilst slightly lower in price than the base ID4 has absolutely nothing included.
The VW even in basic guise has things like heated seats Sat Nav and heated steering wheel which cost quite a bit extra on the Enyaq.

MickyIt was great I loved it ,I’m sure we all get depressed with new top gear racing super cars around track over & over again, looking at cars average person can’t afford.
Whoever is behind 5th gear recharged understands what TV viewers want to see in a motoring show, yes folks I too really enjoyed it ,look forward to it each week, informative, everyday motoring issues, how interesting the electric car charger installation was, do you think BBC watched it & realise where they are going wrong ??, The enyak looks great ,I could fancy that if it came on scheme sometime.
I see strangely mercedes has published Q4 2021 mercedes models, but it says nothing available until Q1 2022.
I also heard that mercedes dealerships expect new cars in their Q1 mercedes Q,so I hope to get my mercedes march 22 time.
Keep safe.

This will be a big issue if the Enyaq makes it onto the scheme, as many “essentials” are extra and are paid for at full price, perhaps with a small % discount.

December 11, 2021 at 3:22 pm #171439Must try to catch the new Fifth Gear. Thought the old series was better than the late original Top Gear. Also really like Butler-Henderson as a presenter, mad as a cabbage and most entertaining. Plato’s good too, when he can spare the time from that well known contact sport BTCC!
December 11, 2021 at 5:47 pm #171441Caught a little bit of the first episode. That solar powered car was interesting. It didn’t look nice but it will be interesting to see how that technology develops!
