EV energy tariffs

I note that all prices are shown as being “from”.

When I contacted OVO, for EV Everywhere, they quoted me the same as my existing current ‘2 Year Fixed Energy’ rates..

Unit Rate 15.38p per Kilowatt hour kWh,  Standing charge 27.40p a day.

I guess it depends on postcode or area.

Good to know Tony it just goes to show that you need to shop around and sometimes the headline rates are not as transparent as they should be ?

I have Octopus Agile which charges my car overnight between 1230am and 1630am for 5p per kw/h for other times its 13.4p

Ian are you sure you are Octopus Agile and not on Octopus GO, the Agile tariff has the night off peak rate, then a variable tariff, but has a premium rat 16.00 -19.00 which attracts a 35 pence kWh tariff.

I am on the Octopus Go tariff like you 5p kWh off peak, 13.72kWh day unit rate, 25p day rate

Hi Oscarmax sorry my bad…had a big weekend building submarines and wasnt concentrating!

I’m on Octopus Go 5p in the early hours of the morning for ev charging 13.74p rest of the day.

I was on Agile until December but I think Go will work better for me because I was unable to minimise my usage during Agile expensive times 4pm -7pm
